Happy Assistant Principals Week!
This week, we celebrate our incredible assistant principals who provide unwavering dedication and exceptional service to our school district.
“Each day, you navigate countless responsibilities with remarkable skill and grace – supporting your principals, empowering our teachers, motivating our students, and creating positive learning environments where everyone can thrive,” said District 202 Superintendent of Schools Dr. Glenn Wood.
Thank you!

Remember: No school Friday for a student improvement day. See you Monday! #202proud

Welcome to school! Happy Friday! It is going to be a great day! 🎤🎹💚 Students entered the building and were serenaded by Mr. J., Mrs. Wood, and Mr. Nirchi. 🤩

Ss put their engineering skills to the test by building bridges using only straws, index cards, & tape! The challenge: create a structure strong enough to hold a cup filled w/ objects w/o collapsing. They’ll use this hands on experience to write a personal narrative this week. 📝

Due to inclement weather, the District 202 Administration Center will close at 2 p.m. today. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Central Elementary School second graders learned about the Chinese New Year recently. The Year of the Snake began on January 29. Students made hats, lanterns, snakes, and red envelopes - all symbols of the Chinese New Year. One student shared her New Year's family traditions and gave her classmates red envelopes with two-dollar bills inside. The two-dollar bill symbolizes prosperity.

Our second grade students learned all about Chinese New Year. They made hats, lanterns, snakes, & red envelopes. Students wrote kind messages to one another to put in their envelopes. One of our Wildcats shared her family traditions and celebrations for Chinese New Year and brought in red envelopes for her classmates! Each envelope had a $2 bill in it.
